It's been a long long time. Apr & May were really hectic months.
Just started degree last month, first 2subs were Advertising and Public Relations.
And, this Sat would be my PR exam & assignment submission day.
Can't wait for June 5th, having break for the entire JUNE. woohoossss :D

Well, anyways, lately I've been feeling ajklkdszknfhasd!
Yes, whads that I'm referring to?
Only a few would understand it, because they know whad's going on in my life now.
and, they are the ones I trust and could depend on.

Actually, nothing serious is going on, so no worries to the rest.
I'm fine here, just trying to suck it up and keep it going strong.
Life is all about learning experience, thats whad I've been tellin myself lately.
Do not give up and STAY STRONG EVON!
U'll be able to overcome it someday, its just a matter of time.

I wonder how long more I'll be able to suck it up and ya, only god knows the answer to it.
It's tiring. My friends asked me to think it over, whether if all these are worth it.
There's a limit to everything, esp patience.

yes, I'm just gonna rant for the next 10mins here.

I've been telling ppl ard me,
how much I miss subang, the carefree lifestyle, with my lil car.
Free to go anywhere, to do anything, at any hour of the day.
It is awesome, but u'll get bored of it eventually.
because too much of freedom isnt a good thing, u'll tend to run out of things to do ltr on.

Looking back at it now,
I wondered why I decided to go for Sg.
like seriously, its a whole new shit to adapt to, and it sucks,
because I dislike trying out new stuff, thats just me.

But, now I'm stucked here, so I guess I'll just have to live with it.
Hopefully things will take a turn for the better, which is smtg that I NEED NOW!
God, u totally have no idea how life is like here, as compared to subang/malacca.

If its subang, there's no such thing as CURFEW!!!
and, when there's no curfew, I can skip home or driving bac at like 5am.
I totally miss that life without curfew, but then it can be rather lonesome at times too.
U see, there's no such word called 'perfect' in life.

That was one of the reason why I left Taylor's too.
I missed home,
and I felt that I've missed out so much while I was too busy having the time of my life in subang.

Now in Singapore, its all back to square one, a life with curfew & extra limitations.
I get it that parents are normally worried abt their children, and they often wants the best for us.
My parents are abit over-protective, I dont blame them for that.
Prolly cause all they know abt the world out there is through a squarish box, called the TV.
They have never actually went out there and see it with their own eyes.
Media often exaggerates and thats a bad thing for me.
because my parents will believe whatever the news tell em,
and then they will get worried over nothing.
*sighs* yes, i've been sighing for the past 2hrs.

I've been thinking a lot lately.
well, I've nothing else better to do, yupp.
If my parents could just be supportive and believe in me,
they shud actually let me go, to experience diff things in life, out of my comfort zone.
But then again, as parents, its never easy for them to not worry abt their children.

At first I thought I was gon spend my saturday

We were just talking abt meeting up few days back.

So, we decided - 1630 at Orchard!

She made my life so much easier by giving opinions
regarding whad looks btr on me.

For instance, like Havaianas flip flop,
I couldnt decide which colour to get.
and the nearest to black is the charcoal greyish one.
its S$39 (affordable la) then u x2.45 = screwed much?hell yeah,
I just splurged rm100 on a ~~common~~-looking sandal.
its nice BUT, common, sheatt! :'(
sudahlar my red longchamp so common here,
now its the sandal gaah~...

After Havaianas, I had cravings for mochafrap, lols-
So, we went to Starbucks at Wisma :)
Instead of mochafrap, i got Javachip grande without whipped cream.
We did so much catch-up talks.
It was really good, havent done that for quite sometime.
and, we knew each other back in 2005, thats like 5yrs now.
I'm so glad that we'r keepin in touch noww :D

GOOD MORNING people!
I don't normally geddup this early,
knowing that my class only starts @ 3.30pm.
But, my sis woke me up, to open a small bottle thing. :/ gahh!*
Now, I cant go bac to sleep.

Anyhoo, I think Fb's really erm ... WOW!
I mean, it spreads news prolly a million times faster
than other mediums available out there.
ahahahaa...
I'm sure those who have my Fb, knows whad I'm referring to. ;)

If not, to those who've not known/heard abt it yet,
I'm attached now! is that good news to u??

I just checked my fb,
and, as of now, there are 8 friends liking it & 7 HAPPY comments
on the changed relationship status.
We updated it at 1am (last night/this morning), lols!
I was laughing when I looked thru the notifications. ahahahaa...

Oh, I went to Sentosa last Friday, after the Journalism paper.
The paper sux :'( cause, Journalism is so not my thing.
so yeah, that explains why it sux.

I love the beaches there!
and, sunset is a really beautiful thing to watch by the seaside. :D

We went to the Underwater World - S$ 22.90 per head.
Well, initially, we didnt want to go,
thinking that it'd be a waste of $$$ to just see fishes!
But, I think the 3 pink dolphins & 2 *obscene* seals show was the best.

We also went to the "Songs of the Sea" - S$ 10 per head.
It was awesome, fantastic!
Anyone who's new to Sentosa, shud really check out the show!
It's definitely worth spending ur bucks for, trust me on this!

This is prolly my best weekend ever, like really the BEST of the best!!
ahahahaa...
After Sentosa, we went for dinner, then to Ice-Cold-Beer @ Cuppage.

On Sat, left home at 7pm, went to Marina Square Mall for dinner.
Then, walked over to Esplanade.
Sat down and listened to live bands @ Waterfront area.
It was really relaxing, and fun. Soul Excess, the 2nd band of the night, a good local one.
Then, we took a bus to Clarke Quay. Met up with his friends @ Studio 6.
Then again, took a cab to S Club.

After that, took a cab again to this sleazy place, called 'NANA'.
Its a thai disco, yupp! Don't gimme the face, he wanted me to check that place out.
Supposed to be an eye-opening thing, like culture shock, but we only got there at abt 3smtg.
Left the place at 6am, took a bus home. Slept at 8am, got up at 2pm.

Sunday - Went for "The Blind Side" @ Lido, Shaw Hse.

owhkays, I think I'll try to get bac to sleep. *yawns*

Good afternoon on a Saturday; 12.12.09

I just feel that I dont seem to understand myself now,
as much as I used to.

I know that my past posts have been quite emo,
but that's not who I wanna be.
Perhaps, I've been playing self-defense all this while,
and that, it takes time to overcome stuffs that I've been through.
I'm def' not someone who says, "Hey dear, love you lots!"
and, then the next day, "I don't think I love u anymore?"
ahh, well, I dont get whad Im trying to say as well,
just forget bout it.
Life's short, why bother so much? :)

Alrights, back to last night.
After class, we went out for dinner @ Orchard,
then, Marcus recommended Cuscaden Patio
for a chilling session.
But, u know I dont fancy drinking,
so I drank very lil, compared to them.

However, Cuscaden Patio was way below my expectation.
ahahaaaa... it looked like a mamak stall,
in a closed shopping mall, that plays rock songs.
BUT, the company was awesome!

Then, we decided to move somewhere else.
Eames brought us to this pub @ boat quay.

Ordered a bottle of JD,
and I prolly drank not even 1/4 of it for $30.
But, well, money doesnt really matters,
when it comes to chilling out with mates,
its the great company that counts, right??
Thats how I think of it.
We left at about 1.40am?
The night was still young,
but I have an elder sister here,
its smtg called "curfew" :(

I had a sooper relaxing and lazy saturday.

anyhoo, an hr ago,
my sis told me that my oh-dearest grandpa
slipped and fell in the bathroom on the day before.
and, he knocked his back head and it bleed.
Considering his age, about 85 yrs old now,
its a serious matter. He's as fragile as a piece of mirror.
:'/
I really wish that I can visit him in the hosp now
and be there for him, but I'm stucked here in S'pore.
my parents told me he's fine now. :D

He's the only grandpa I have now.
He has done so much for the family,
and he also used to bring me out for lunch & dinner when I was young.
He really dotes on his children & grandchildren a lot,
but now that he's an old weak man with limited mobility,
who is often neglected and regarded as a useless junk,
which is totally not true to me.
I miss him a lot, in fact.

Seeing grandpa's health slowing down each time,
I feel sad,
and its time for me to hold his hand while he walks,
like how he used to hold my small lil hand back then. :)

Whenever he comes over to my dad's shop,
and if I'm there, I'll always hold his hand
and walk him from his car to the doorstep of the shop,
step-by-step. It feels good to me...

Back then, he used to be this strong old man,
who's kinda powerful to me in a way,
strict outlook,
but deep inside, he's a loving grandpa.
I haven't seen him for bout 2mths long?
yeah, thats why I miss him a lot...

I've been ill for the past 5days.

Its prolly because my life's pretty dull now.

Sometimes, I really hate my immune system,
for being so weak and my tonsils are always there for me,
if I've been eating too much yummy fried stuff,
and my body just couldnt take it all in without complaining.

It sucks so much when u feel sick,
or about to fall sick each time u eat something real good for 10x.
Why does it always have to be this way,
when I just love fried stuff? :'/

Not only my body is weak,
my pimples would all start popping up,
if i eat too much of mcds and fried stuff.
Now, I have 4growing pimples.
Facial is a must for this cmin Sunday! :)
body massage, oh dear, it feels damn good and loosen up.

Right now, I just feel like ripping my throat off.
Its really painful, to even just swallow my saliva/anything.
and then, food is gon be a big problem when u'r sick,
without ur mom being next to you.

Apart from all that,
I'll b sitting for my PR paper this cmin Friday.
and now that, I'm feelin so sick & just wanna stay in bed all time.

I'd say that I had a happy-go-lucky childhood,
despite my parents' relationship.
Well, every family has its problems, including mine.
However, I'm so ever thankful that I can still call it a family!
Some families stay on strong together,
some families are torn apart/broken.

To me, nothing else really matters when it comes to family unity.
I can live without anything, except for family!
ok, money is important for survival. :)

As for friends & relationships,
I used to believe in forever when I was young.

Now, I don't believe in forever anymore.
Its because I've seen it with my own eyes,
how people turn their back on one another,
and step away when you no longer benefit em.

aights, I wouldnt say benefit,
but when they feel that they had enuff of you,
they'll just walk away quietly. :'/
I admit that I've done that to quite a few of my good friends.
I'm truly sorry and I've no excuse for that.

I don't blame them, its human nature.
That's why life is sucha drama,
episodes of our life,
be it happy or sad,
life still goes on...

Ever since secondary ended,
I feel that I'm no longer close to my school friends,
esp the ones who I grew up with since Primary days.
Prolly, thats the growing up thing.
U lose a lot at a blink of eye,
but slowly gaining along the way.
So, to those who are still in their schooling days,
trust me when I say that schooling days are the best days ever,
despite the exams, 7.30am school and homeworks.
Because thats where you see your friends everyday,
and continue bonding till sch is over.

Then, hello to uni life & later, working life!
Thats when u'll start to learn more about responsibilities,
commitments, credibility, punctuality,first impressions
and esp your attitude.

Thats all I want to say.
I may not have what I want in life,
but live in the moment.
Think about the less fortunate ones,
and u'll feel that your life is actually awesome!! :D

Another thing, I am a materialistic girl,
and who does not love luxuries right?
but I won't splurge my parents hard-earned money
on things that I can't afford.

I told myself that I'd only get them,
once I start earning a steady income.
I'm seeing that in 4years time! ;)

I'm seriously getting bored of staying at home now.
I guess I'm all ready for social events, but do I have good companies with that?
I'm afraid not, because I'm no longer close to the ones who I used to socialize with.

to drag me out of social retardness & boredom.

Anyways, the weather is being sucha bitch lately.
I hate rainy days whenever I'm out on the street.
Mainly because, I hate umbrellas & the slippery walkway.
And, it always rain when I'm about to leave my campus,
and head back home by bus, just so u know.
If it rains heavily, it totally sucks real bad!
I dont wanna get wet at all, esp my notes.

On the other hand, today's a FRIDAY!
woohooo!!!* I always do love weekends,
because it is the time when I getto go to the malls, facials & absolute relaxation.
I have no commitments on weekends, thats why it feels so damn good!!! ;)

Tmw's a Saturday,
and, I doubt I'll be headin to the mall.
Because, I have a BBQ party to attend later at night.
Its actually accompanying my sis to her friend's place.
Which now makes me undecisive,
to go for it / stay at home, watch my fav tv show

and, I have presentation slides to work on for this weekend.
It will be presented this cmin Thursday, PR group presentation.
It is regarding Crisis Management.
Case: SIA's plane SQ006 crash at Taiwan Intl. Airport back in 2000.
83 people died, and US$400, 000 compensation given out to the victims' family by SIA.
How does that sound?? Interesting?
My part will be about the initiatives taken by SIA to get its image back on business.

Oh and I love going to supermarkets, seriously!
I just went there after class in the afternoon today.
It was quiet, cold and no queue at the cashier. =)
I ended up getting 2pax of IndoMee & 2pax of Beautex pocket tissues.

Slipped & fell on street!

Easy going and happy people.

I like my outfit to uni today,

put on my fav MNG long blue top,

along with long leggings & flip-flops.

also, with my red NineWest handbag.

BUT, while I was walking home,

I slipped and fell on the street,

because it was drizzling at that moment,

and I was trying to walk home fast.

Then, I felt so embarassed

because people in the cars prolly saw whad happened

as they were waiting for green light.

SO, I quickly got up, went off straight.

It hurts a lil now, still.

aihhh~ clumsyness!

Last Saturday was totally awesome~

Went shopping with my sis,

and, ended up, she bought more stuff than me.

I only managed to get a blue MNG top.

We spent the longest fitting room time

in GAP.

Sis was tryin on her long pants,

and the fitting room guy was really funny.

or, perhaps friendly. He's a Malay, so no.

Apart from that,

we had Teppanyaki at Food Republic,

Wisma Atria.

Its def worth it for just S$ 12,
without drinks.

Just rice, soup, black pepper pork.

7th Nov 09; Saturday.

Back then, I lead a very busy, hectic life.
Melissa always calls me the "social butterfly". LOL!
Busy with outings, movies, yamchas, shoppings, parties, etc...
till the extent that my parents actually got angry of me,
and yeah, thats when I started slowing down...
I remember that I used to lie a lot to my parents,
for the sake of goin out and all u know.

Oh and during my stay in Subang,
I used to go out till really late, like 6.30am = bedtime.
and yeah, I even drove back from SS15 on my own at 5am.
We went for yamcha, then Shisha/pool/foosball, then to CC.
I really loved that kinda lifestyle at first, but I got bored of it later.
It's def worth it for experience sake kan? hee*

But now, my life is as plain as a blank piece of paper.
and, I'm not very good at lying to my parents anymore.
I tell them everything truthfully, like who I'm goin with, and all.
Perhaps, I've matured a lil ? :)
nahh~ it just feels like I've been so wild and outgoing back then,
that I have prolly used up all my good times ticket in life already eh.
Does it make sense to u? well, it does to me.

Sometimes, I really do miss that outgoing side of me.
and, I miss all the people I used to hang out often with back then.

To me, life is a really weird thing u know?
I have my reasons for saying so.

The days are so long now ...

Anyways, I just did my exam ysday. It's okay for the quests.
Hopefully I can score well, and yeah my assignment too. ;)

hello. Im damn bored now, studee-ing, if not, its essay time. dangg~
My brain sorta auto shutdown eh suddenly. LOL!

and, there's an acting crew downstairs,
filming a lorong scene kot.
But, they were pretty noisy, so thats why I went to check out.
I guess they are just the really local new actors/actresses. Not familiar to me at all.
Did I mention that the MediaCorp artists often film their scenes at this shoplot next to mine.
Its a Kopitiam scene, I often see em comin over 2-3times a week to film a scene.
Met some of the famous faces of S'pore's cina local actors/actresses. :D

Okays, bac to essay.

7.25pm: Just after a long shower. My shoulders are aching again, whenever I start sitting upright. dangg~ smtg wrg with it? Perhaps? I'm supposed to be doing my essay now, as it dues next Friday, but I'm procrastinating.

Not forgetting that, I'm havin a 3-hr exam next Friday as well. 100pages of notes!
hmpph, I'm now left with 9days to go.

Then, it will be another new sub, new lecturer to adapt to.

As for today, its a long day, lecture frm 8.30-11am. Then, tutorials frm 12.30-3pm.
Obviously, there are bout 20mins break in btw,
and the air cond is kinda cold, and me with no cardi.

Despite the long day and sleepyness in class,
I had lotsa fun interacting with 2 of my classmates,
who are sitting next (Suzanna) & behind me (Jerome).
Nice casual people, I feel kinda comfortable mixing ard with em.
I don't restrict myself in any form, when I communicate with em.
I showed em a couple of pics in my cam,
my hometown friends, taylors friends and Dino the small but OLD dog! ahhaaa...
and then, Suzanna showed me her cosplay pics in her iTouch.

Anyways, this week highlights...

Started uni on the Monday; 19th Oct, 8.30am.

I sat alone, because I don't know anyone there at all, completely!

It was erm pretty boring and my palms were sweaty, nervous kot?

On the Tues, things got much better.

A girl approached me and asked if she could join me.

I definitely said YES, with a big smile! =D

I was darnnn happy that, at least I neednt sit all by myself again.

She's Suzanna Wan, a mix of Chinese & Malay yes.

My 1st impression of her was erm, she's quiet, soft-spoken and kinda knowledgeable girl.

We've been sitting next to each other till Friday class.

We had lunch breaks together, explored the uni a lil. hee*

Well, my schedule is quite ok.

On the odd days, classes are frm 8.30am till 11.30am.

As for the even days, classes are frm 8.30am till 3.30pm, due to tutorials.

Its normally 3hrs lecture, 3hrs tutorial, on the same subject.

Its completely diff frm other uni, because we study a subject at a time.

Thus, more concentrations on it.

and, at the end of every sub,

we have an assignment and a xm to attend.

Thats basically whad Im goin thru now.

hmm, made a few more friends yesterday during break time.

Interesting and friendly ppl.

I don't really feel awkward communicatin with any of em yet.

Met about 7-8friends, of mix genders,

one frm China, one frm Vietnam, one frm India, and the rest are locals.

I guess thats all for now.

Its a saturday neways,

so a lil shopping later at Orchard,

with my sis of crs.

Haven't managed to get hold of their mobile nos.

Will do so by next week.

A tiring weekend...

I had a tiring weekend!

Saturday; 10.10.2009 -

-I spent 3hrs in the evening cleaning up my wardrobe. Before this, it was filled with few heavy boxes, pc stuff and etc (the landlord's stuff) and also, extremely DUSTY! eeeekkk*

I am a person, who is extremely particular about hygiene & being neat,
an OCD, said my friend (Ching)

Thus, I wiped the cupboard for like 10times and, it looks pretty huge when u'r wiping it.
But, after the clothes are in, it looks just fine. ahahaa...
Oh and, thanks to my elder sis.
She did most of the cleaning. I did the washing. LOL! :)

My elder sis encouraged me when I was so darn tired of wiping.
She said, " Think of ur lovely clothes & handbags!
and, whoknows in future u'r gonna fit some of ur loves to be kept inside! "
Need i mention who are my loves? nahh~
Those who knows me well, understands it. ;)

Then, we showered and had our 3dishes meal at Toa Payoh.
Met up with her friend, he's doing part-time modeling.
I like listening to his modeling experiences, including wearing high heels too.
He bought a pair of heels frm Charles & Keith just for his modeling stuff.

Sunday; 11.10.2009 -

- Woke up at 12noon sharp.
We had an appointment awating for us at Crystal Jade Palace Restaurant (12.30pm).
We reached Taka at ard 1.20pm. LATE!
but, still, we managed to get our table and started ordering lotsa dimsums!
yummylicious egg yolk tarts! I ate most of it. aahahahaa...

- Then, we walked to Paragon for MUJI.
Its a shop that sells stuff from Japan, made in Japan.
Good quality with reasonable prices. :)
Bought a small box for my accesorries, S$11 only! =)))

- After Paragon, we walked to Robinsons at Somerset.
Sis wanted to get her blusher from there.
In the end, she bought the Bobbi Brown almond blusher for S$ 39 only.
Cheap right? exclude the conversion of crs. hee*

Then, we crossed over to Orchard Central.
Walked ard, and i really don't like it there. It totally sux, despite the beautiful outlook.
Took MRT to Novena for our facial at Dermalogica! :) yaysss*
Thats whad I've been waiting for, a good facial with massage!

After facial, we took MRT to Toa Payoh.
Sis went to get her Hepatitis A jab.
Then, I managed to persuade her to have McD for our dinner.
yummm* I've been waiting for a month. ahahaaa... hee!

Timetable & med check-up

hello. good day.

2days ago (tues), went over to the uni to get my med check-up form,
and paid the 1st payment fee,
as costly as S$ 9057.55 (RM 22 191).

and, then, 5mths later,
I gotta pay another S$ 7500.

Well, I def' can't afford to pay S$ 33K cash,
so I pay by installments, every 5mths, we pay an amount of fee.
danngg~

I really gave a deep thought about it this time,
cause the fee itself is pretty expensive due to the conversion rate & 7% GST.
hmm, looks like I gotta cut down a lot on my shopping,
and be a total geek who studies 24/7.

Ohh and, I got my TIMETABLE too.
Its so diff compared to Taylors.

How do I go about it uhh? Okay, lets put it this way.

Each month, there's only a subject to focus on,
an assignment & a 3hrs exam at the end of the month.

In other words, every month I have an exam paper.

At first, it does look kinda relaxing and easy, but I doubt it will.
Instead, its gon' be sooper intensive and a clock-ticking course.

and hey, guess whad I first looked at when I got my timetable!!!
*hint: digits* LOL!
The morning class time siaa! 8.30AM everyday (Mon-Fri)

Fuckingg early,
and I gotta go by buss,
which makes me have to geddup wayy earlier
than my schooling days weyh! :'(

a lil regret, but "Nasi sudah menjadi bubur". :/

As for yesterday, I went for my med check-up all by myself.
Took a bus to Novena MRT,
then, took the MRT to Yio Chu Kang MRT station.
After MRT,
took bus no. 13 at the bus interchange to AMK Avenue 6,
Block 715; SATA medical centre.

After med check-up, took bus no. 86 to AMK bus interchange,
then waited for bus no. 130, a direct bus home.
*phewww~*

Gotta collect my med report tmw, the same route again. gosh!

I'm down with sorethroat now :( ahh, not again!

First of all,
30th of Sep will always be the expiry date for almost everything,
such as promotions, sales, food stuff and etc... :)

Nevertheless, it also happened to be the day
I was brought into this beautiful place called Earth!
I've been celebrating my birthday for the past 18yrs.

Somehow, this year's (19th) doesnt seem to be as awesome as the prev yrs.

Prolly I've gotten bored of it / many things have changed,
so it doesnt feels the same anymore.
I don't feel excited much,
okayy, well a bit of that of course, nothing more.

However, this year's birthday was no biggey to me,
no celebration, nothing.
But, its alright, I've a long way to go, so chill lar right?

I received lotsa birthday wishes through SMSes,
phone calls (sorry to those that I didnt manage to answer ur call),
Fb wall of crs (banyak lagi tu),
and a surprise frm my bestie (Melissa Ong).

Mel texted me in the afternoon,

I was def curious, so went to check it out!

Found a white envelope in it,
its a hand-made bday card, filled with love,
so thoughtful of herrr kan!

We used to have lunch at Tony Romas for at least once a week, syiok eh!

We also celebrated others' 19th bdays at Tony Romas too!

ahh, Im gonna miss my turn deyh! not fairr siaa... :(

and, We even went Ipoh just for our grp assignment regarding FOOD!

We all did so many things together,

cracked silly jokes, uttered funny badwords (MAHAI!),

laughed a lot together VERY LOUD esp and birthday surprises too...

aww~ im so missing all those moments, its worth it no matter whad!

Tho, we weren't friends for a long time,

but, it feels like we've been friends for decades deep down.

So, Zhao Wern called me at 12noon,

told me that they've reached Mlc.

and, I met up with them at 3.40pm for SATAY!

Of crs, satay was on me, because I'm sorta like the host for 'em.

and, thats also the least I can do.

Ordered 50sticks with 4ketupats = RM44. cheap kan? sedapp tu!

Then, brought em to get those dodols,

nyonya stuff frm Jonkers & Tan Kim Hock.

and, to satay celup for dinner.

After that, Zhao Wern suggested to makan the cake they bought frm Nadeje earlier on.

So, I gave her my car key and offerd to accompany her to my car,

but she strongly refused! weird kan?

I totally didnt realise that they bought the cake to surprise me.

I suggested to them that the cake can be for supper when they get back to KL.

but, manatau ish,

syiok syiok nanyi HAPPY BIRTHDAY so loud at the sate celup shop.

I was so surprised & malu siaa, public ma, kenot blame me tu.

Frankly speakin, I've never had any bday surprises before.

So, this was my first surprise,

"OMGG!" that was my 1st expression.

hahahaa, I just cudnt stop laughin there, because

I'd say that I was touched at that very moment,

and wished time cud have stopped there a lil longer for me.

Just thank GOD that my tears werent rollin down the cheeks. LOL!

ahh, thats why lar I'm so in LOVE with this bunch of chicks eh!

I made a wish about them (ZW, Zanne, Angie, Nikki & Vic)

We did our usual outing routine thang.

Satay for lunch, Shoppings at MP/DP,

Paratha Wrap&Pink Berry for tea-time,

and, Asam Pedas for dinner.

We spent almost an hr in Padini Concept Store.

Decided to make full use of my Padini 30% b'day voucher!!

We both eyed the same black pumps, flip-flops & handbag.

thats LOVE! lol~

I do noticed that I've changed into a total diff person, not so sociable as b4.
I got it aights, need no reminders for that.

There's nth I can do, but I'm trying to reconnect back with the society.

hello. greetings everyone out there. :)

I have been ultimately lazy,
the incurable sleeping hours & the low energy level a.k.a lembikness.
Knock off at 1am, and wakes up at 12pm. exceeding 10hrs EVERDAY! mark that*
and, that also explains why I don't respon to calls/texts before 1pm.
As simple as ABC, I'm still in the dreamland,
refused to miss out the nice scenes.
-LOL-

On the other hand, here I am wondering whether if we're now under the almighty God's punishment. Whad contributed to that thought above?

a) The uncontrollable H1N1 influenza- Sooper HAPPENING worldwide! *hawt.topic, June 09.

b) Then came the Pneumonia pandemic (severe, contagious)- a small town in China, July.

c) The "human warriors" bombing north-south-east-west (caused the lost of loved ones, destroyed homes & valuable belongings)- Iran, Afghanistan, Palestin & etc.

d) The Morakot typhoon killed above 500lives- Taiwan, 11.08.09

e) and, the earthquake as early as 6am- Japan, 11.08.09

f) Lead poisoning sickens 600kids- China, 14.08.09

g) and, coming soon the Hurricane Guillermo that forms in the Pacific- believed to hit the Gulf of Mexico + threaten U.S. oil + natural gas platforms & refineries along the coast.

How long more do all these unfortunate people need to go through??
and, no one will ever understand the endurance of these tough lives,
who appreciates every lil thing in their life,
because a tomorrow is not guaranteed for them.

Let's pray for all the victims, esp the typhoon in Taiwan!

Grey's Anatomy S5 -finale-

helllo, good early morning world.

Its 1am now,
and I know whad I'm about to say is totally gonna sound silly and hilarious enuff,
but I'm still going to say it out loud here.

I've just finished watching the Grey's Anatomy Season 5 finale.
It's never easy watching a life being taken away from your side,
and only left with its collection of memories
that remains forever fresh in mind till death do us apart.

I'm not someone who fancies all these english dramas,
but it seems like I am now, totally attached to it.

Grey's Anatomy is a great show and influential to someone like me.
Well, of crs, exclude all the sexual scandals among em,
but its rather entertaining as well.
ahahaa-

I just wanna say,

"I love the ones who's in my life and grateful to God for such a blissful, healthy life, less of hardships/illness/unfortunate events so far! Thank you all for making it a better place.

Just so you know that I'll be here in S'pore till early Aug (most prolly).

Well, anyways, it makes no difference, no matter where I am,

because, its my holiday, my break time,

the time for me to reorganize the way I want to live my life
and the way I handle my stuff.

I cant deny the fact that I'm quite a follower,

but I can't help it, its not easy.

So, lets see how it goes.

I've been rotting and rotting and rotting like nobody's business.

All I do is just eat, on9, watch movies & off to bed...

How great is that uh,

contributing spare tyres & increasin my weight effortlessly!

ahhh~ that's life with no purpose :) dumbass!

Oh wait, I went for facials twice, aha!

thats PAINfulllll!

My face is improving, so wait&see!

Last weekend, I went back to Malacca with my sis.

Met up with Caryn & Steph on Sat noon,

for lunch at Simply Fish,

manicure & Thai massage at DP.

I had a great time,

because I havent seen Caryn for months,

and I havent been goin out with friends for awhile.

It feels good, definitely!

Guess whad colour I chose for my manicure?

ahahaa, I would say its so ME lar.

I chose ORANGE!

It was mainly because both of em said its nice & yeah,

at first, I felt really awkward seeing 10 orangey fingernails.

but then again, I showed my mom,

she said it was beautiful

and now she wants manicure as well. LOL!

I'll bring her the next time... hee*

I'm lookin fwd to this cmin Friday,

meeting up with Shin Jiu & Amanda hopefully.

197th: R.I.P Andre Tang Jia Rong (Sg)

I've got a boy's history to share with yall. Read it well, if u'r interested. :)

I came across his story published on the front page of the newspaper

(The New Paper, A Singapore Press Holdings Publication).

The Main Title: THEIR 15-YEAR MIRACLE

Sub-headings: Docs gave S'pore boy born with 'Half A Heart' 3 days to live. But parents refused to give up hope.

Background:-

Name: Andre Tang Jia Rong

D.O.B: 7th Sept 1994 (15th, yr 2009)

- He was a child who had an extremely rare condition,

that was him surviving with only "half a heart",

unlike us, who survives with a healthy heart condition.

- When the docs discovered the unborn child (Andre) had an extremely rare condition,

leaving him with only "half a heart", they tried to get his parents to abort him.

- However, his parents refused! Doctors then gave the baby (Andre) 3 days to live.

- His parents learnt about this during a scan in the 22nd wk of pregnancy, doctors advised them to abort him (Andre). A doctor said at the time that his chances of surviving was very slim.

- His mother, Mrs April Tang, 41, said:

"The doctor said I was still young. I could have another baby. We were so heartbroken!

But I wanted to give Andre at least a chance of life, even if it cost us everything we had.

I told him that I wanted him to have a name, an identity, and IC...

And he did get one, last week. I wanted him to have friends, and he has tons of them."

-The teenager (Andre) was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome.

Only his right side of his heart was formed!

In other words, he had only 1/2 a heart to pump blood around his body.

- Andre's father is Mr. Tang Ngai Kin, 55, who coaches the national women's 4x100m relay team(Sg).

"Life's like a 100m race. Only when the race ends can we know who is the winner,"

said the S'pore Press Holdings group acc manager.

Andre's father said,

"I prayed very, very hard, and I was rewarded. He was our miracle child!

Throughout his life, we've been through countless obstacles, ups & downs. And, Andre has really fought a GOOD FIGHT!!!"

- Andre's family & friends describe him as "charming", "cheerful" and "immaculate".

- He was the peacemaker in the family, who would solve problems instead of causing them.

- As a result of his condition, the Secondary 3 ACS Barker student couldn't participate in most sports, and had to do many things slowly.

** He typically spent 1 & 1/2 hrs eating his meals,

and could only walk for a few mins b4 he felt tired.

Sometimes, he had fainting spells,a nd had to go to the hospital.

He took up bowling, as a co-curricular activity in Primary 6,

but stopped after he found it too tiring to hold the bowling ball.

Instead, he focused on painting, mostly in acrylic.

Last July, his work was featured in an annual art exhibition organised

by the charity Very Special Arts S'pore.

Last year (2008), he sold some of his paintings to purchase a laptop.

- His condition has been deteriorating gradually over the past 2 years.

- Last Sept, he collapsed while in school.

After that, Andre went to school for only 2hrs each day.

Said Mrs Tang,

"Everytime he comes home, I see a very tired child. But he's smiling all the way."

- 2 weeks ago, he asked his parents for a stool, so he could sit while bathing,

and a cream-coloured lipstick, so that the publics' wouldn't stare a his dark-coloured lips.

- A few days later, he asked if the maid could bathe him, his father said.

"It seemed like a bizarre thing to say at that time,

but now we understand why he said it," added Mr Tang.

- It seemed Andre himself was aware that his body was weakening.

He asked his sis, Andrea, who is an active swimmer, to win a gold medal for him.

- He left instructions to Andrea to take care of his cat, which he named "Kiasu".

He also asked his family to leave his computer, laptop & desk as they are,

because he "will come back".

Mr Tang said:

"Andre used to ask me: Why doesn't GOD take me back, so that in my next life, I can jump, swim, play, without catching my breath?"

Andre would say:

'If I had a normal life, I would be better in sports than you (father).' He said that he would represent ACS in sports.'

- It was Andre's pride in his school that motivated his family's decision to cremate him in his school uniform.

How did it happened? Climax:

- Andre had just finished watching his favourite TV show (Tom & Jerry cartoons) with his family and was tucked into bed. Mr Tang said that he continued to watch TV with his wife when Andre called out: "MUMMY!!!"

- He said:

"We went to his room, and saw him sitting upright on his bed. He held his hands in front of his chest, and was shivering."

Mr Tang called Andre's sister, Andrea, 13, and Andreana, 10, and the whole family gathered around Andre as he died.

"I felt that his heart was slowing down, and that his hands were loosening. When he began foaming at the mouth, I knew it was the end," he said.

- Mrs Tang added:

"He left us peacefully, in my arms, just like the way I held him when he first came to us."

Minutes before his death...

- Mr Tang said that before Andre died, Andre told his mother:

"Don't be sad. If I go, I'll be well-taken care of by GOD. Anyway, I'll be around.

I'll be an angel looking around. I will help you all. Don't worry about the funeral expenses.

They will be answered. GOD will help us."

>> Andre Tang died on Sunday (12.7.2009) at about 10pm

in the family's Pasir Ris (s'pore) home.

*Dad of boy with 1/2 a heart says his son fought the good fight.

*His friend says: 'The 15 years was a great blessing!'

- Said Ahmed (Andre's best friend):

"Andre once old me that after he walked 4 or 5 steps up a flight of stairs, he would start panting, so I had to wait for him."

When Andre said that he might go off any time,

Ahmed told his friend that a miracle might happen.

Andre replied that a miracle had already happened,

because he had already lived for so long.

Ahmed was among the friends who took care of Andre in school everyday.

Said Mrs Tang, " Those friends were like bodyguards."

There were usually 3 of them, including Ahmed. One would carry Andre's school bag, the other carry his water bottle, and one would just accompany him. Like Andre, these friends get to take the lift to their classroom on the 4th floor of the school.

If Andre had to cross a distance, his friends would piggyback him.

(They are only little boys, but they know how to treat their friends sincerely.)

A blue-themed party - Andre's fav colour was blue - will be held at the Church of The Holy Spirit on Friday at 10am, before the cortege leaves at 11am for Mandai Crematorium.

As I was reading about it in the newspaper this afternoon,

my tears started rolling down my cheeks.

This boy here had a very beautiful heart, even though its just half of a heart.

He was a total stranger to me,

but reading the brief history of his life in the news made me realised that,

they are others out there in this world,

who are also trying their best to survive,

and their amount of endurance that is way much heavier than mine,

is nothing compared to theirs.

Its the 15th day of the month, yr 09, 196th post.

I realized that I havent been living my life like a normal human being for the past few mths,

like the Ee Von who socialises a lot & a lively girl, I would say...

Okays, if u wanna continue reading this, be prepared for gettin confused & irritated, aights.

Don't say I dint warn u beforehand! :)

#1: Few mths back, I've changed in the sense that, I'm trying my best not to be a burden to anyone, esp my family.

So, I've been obeying my parents way lot better than before,
not exceeding curfews, driving bac to Mlc for most of the weekends in the past May & June 09, because I've learnt the meaning of "Life's short" & I'd certainly like to be by their side/somewhere close to em to learn that they are in the best of health & each time I'm away frm Mlc, I'd miss my parents a lot, i don't know why, but it feels like I just cant stay far away from em for a long time.

*chuckles* WEIRD hearing this from me uh? I know, I felt it too.

#2: Decided to continue my studies here in MDIS, Singapore,

due to personal reasons & hate the 100% assignments thang by UniSA.

I signed up last Sat & paid an amount of S$ 327.50 (RM 792.55) just for the processing fee.

With that huge amount just for the application processing fee itself is more than enuff for me to not be fickle-minded anymore. I've prolly wasted RM 11, 698 for the 1st sem of UniSA.

Thus, I've wasted more than enuff on my studies,

there'll not be anymore change of uni or stuff like that. So, yeah!

#3: For my dear FRIENDS!

- I'm truly sorry that I havent been spending time with yall like I used to.

- I can't deny the fact that, I've been very unfriendly with the texts & phone calls from yall, but, I supposed I shud let u know about this.

** I felt rather suffocated & lonely (perhaps) ever since I started UniSA degree. Many things have happened, gained some & lost some on the way too. Well, that's life all about right? I've lost a friend whom I once treated her like my closest friend, some1 who I'd turn to during my stay in Subang for the past 1yr++.

However, I realized that I've been too nice to her and allowed her to take advantage of me at times which I don't even realise at all before this, because, I was too naive? We've done studies, assignments, late nights & clubbing together.

AND, just because of the thing called, "MONEY", everything perished in a split of second. There goes our friendship forever...

- Ever since then, I've totally lost my respect towards her & realised how much I meant to her as a good friend of hers. Such a huge disappointment, L.

Credits to u, I've learnt a very important lesson that's to be a very selfish person
to shield myself from being hurt by people like you, who isnt genuine and honest,

not a bit at all.
A lifetime lesson which costs me RM150!!!

M.I.A. for a month long :/

Here's my 195th post,
after 4weeks long of M.I.A period.
and, my apology for that.

It has been a hectic time for the past May & June,
due to assignments.
I got dengue fever in the end of May,
awesome right?
I lost weight,
but gained back already now. :(

Now, I'm over and done with the 1st sem of degree.
and, here's a piece of news, I'm not sure whether if its good/bad for you guys,
but, to me, its a new adventure that awaits me!

I've decided to further my studies in MDIS (a semi-gov uni), Singapore.
They have approved my entry into the Bachelor of Arts
(Liberal Studies with concentration in Mass Communication)
incorporating Advanced Diploma in Mass Communication.

So, yeah, I'm definitely looking forward to that,
tho, I'll have to fully rely on public transportation modes
to get me to places, esp the Uni.

It's time to learn the "INDEPENDENT" word seriously... :)

As for M.J.'s sudden death last Thurs (25.6.09),
I was really shocked to hear bout it.

Its really sad to see a superb talent like him
to depart from our world.

I told mummy and she said this to me,

It's just RM362.25 and i'm sooper glad.
For the fact that i've never earn my own living before
and here it is, right in front of me,
the fruit of it after 17 working days.

I made it through, tho it lasted for a month.
and, it's already banked in!
awaiting for the 3days transaction now.
weehee!

However, I doubt i'll ever spend it on shopping,
as i already sorta spent it
on my new reddish-glossy Nine West handbag that costs me RM319?

I had a good start for this week.
lip-smacking meals from Shogun (Japanese buffet)
to McDonalds
and then TGI Fridays
("It is always fridays at TGI")

However, it wasnt a good thing for my wallet.
Burnt a hole in my pocket,
and now left with not much cash for this 2wks.

Monday (18th May)
Woke up sooper early 6.30am!
walked to college at 7.30am,
met up with angie&zanne at library.
Then, went for classes till 11am.
Decided to have lunch at Shogun
as its lunch set is 50% off the normal rate.
(Rm25 incl. tax; normal rate: RM 48++)
So yeah, 10 of us went in frm 12 till 2pm.

As for dinner, had Mcd with roommate.
McChickeennnn! woots~

Tuesday (19th May)
Skipped the morning class (8am),
was really sleepy&tired.
couldn't been sleeping well for the past whole week.
:( and, still now.

Afternoon class was cancelled.
So, drove over to Subang parade at 12.30.
met up with Angie, Zanne, Zhao Wern,
Nikki, Victoria & Piaget at TGI Friday.
had our drama group discussion,
while i was having my late lunch.
Ordered my all-time-fav, Fish 'n' Chips =)
hee!
and, its RM28.60 (incl. tax)
The waiter gave me a free glass of bottomless pepsi,
cause he saw us sharing the drinks. lol!
thank you, mr.waiter!

I love the food, but not the price.

and, then, drove over to Bangsar Village at 4.30pm.
Went for a lil shopping with roommate.
bought a black waistbelt & small blue wallet for mom!

Wednesday (20th May)
I was 15mins late for tutorial.
and, its over now,
so im just sitting down here blogging. :)

I'm here in Singapore, sister's room doing nothing now,

besides being a couch potato. dangg~
lifeless uh?

wanted to go Orchard road for some shopping therapy,

but decided not to.
why bother to waste money unnecessarily right??

I have lotsa tops which i only prolly wore em for like 3-4x,

and not anymore after that.

and, besides, i've just gotten 3tops ysday from Cotton On at Novena,

just before my facial appointment at Dermalogica.

On contrary to that, staying at home isnt that bad after all.

It gives me ample space & time to think bout certain issues in my life.

for instance, assignments? studies?

yeah, pretty much hiding away from it each time i think bout it,

cause i've been slacking a lot all these while,

so i'm quite adapted to the slacking lifestyle,

which is totally bad for me.

For the reason that, the degree course

which i'm currently undergoing now is 100% based on assignments!!
At first, i thought it would be rather relaxing

and no xms which is totally woohoo!
but, it has proven clearly to me that this course isnt as simple as it sounds.

Nothing is simple in this world,

just like, nothing is FREE in this world.

We have to put in a certain amount of effort

in order to attain a level of satisfaction in life.

and, some of them which requires a huge amount of effort & risks?

so yeah, life's sucha drama & life's tough!!!

I have so much to do, but time's a factor uh.

Earlier on, i was watching "Life of Ryan" on MTV Asia.

He dated Kayla (gf) at first is mainly

because he was desperate enuff to get a gf.
So, then he decided to put evrything aside, and dated Kayla.

As time goes by, somehow he realized that,

Kayla is being totally committed in their relationship,

she does a lot for him.

On the other hand, Ryan felt that he wasnt that committed

and he would prefer his previous single lifestyle,

whereby he can do whatever he wants at anytime.

He was kinda upset bout it,

and felt that Kayla neednt go thru all this with him,

she totally deserved a better bf than him.
He told his friend, Mitch,

that he didnt realise the amount of commitment

he needed to put into a relationship and satisfy a gf's needs.

This sentence itself totally proved that,

he is not so ready for a relationship yet,

and, what's more, he's just 18.

Yeah, so from this mv,

i realised that many guys out there

who would prolly rather flirt around and stay single,

is prolly due to the main reason that is "COMMITMENT" !

They are so afraid to devote themself to a particular girl and bear with her.

It's like wanting their life tied to a wooden tree u noe,

whereby, they have to start behaving like a real gentleman,

and learn how to treat girls in the right way,

respect em and meet their needs.

aiihhh~

So, afterall, i think girls have been putting too much effort in a relationship

to keep it going strong by meeting their bf's requirements and needs,

neglecting her own needs and all.

This shows how much devotion means to a girl.

but, not all girls are loyal to their bfs, like duh?

Some just want to look good in public with a good-looking man who's full of $$$,

driving awesomely-beautiful cars like, S-class merz, fairlady, honda civic etc...

who also dressed up like a celebrity, branded from top to bottom?

yeahh, those are prolly typical city girls?

I've so much to complain about life.
I've so much to say,
so much that,
I've prolly done things that neglect others feelings.
It is never too late to regret in life tho,
well, only minor stuff uh.

I've assignments to keep me busy.
Readings that turn me off instantly??
Movies that keeps me addicted to it for hours.
Mood swings that takes control of my daily routines.

Life's a tough journey for me,
but yet, its the people surrounding me that kept me on track.

(a loud sigh.)
I'll be away for quite awhile,
spending my entire next week in Singapore
and, the following week in Malacca.
It is about time for me to take note of those lil things in my life.

It was a fun-filled weekend
(11.04.09-Sat)

Angelyn invited me over for her 21st birthday celebration.
It was a buffet dinner at Dorcett Hotel,
delicioussss food ;)

There were strawberries too...
weeee~

and, her birthday cake were filled with
diff designs of cupcakes,
such as, Bikini, Star shape and etc.
Nice! *thumbs.up*

and and, the decos were awesomely well done!
It matches the chairs' colour which is Purple (my fav!)
I'm totally in love with the decos & matching colours.
Credits to her aunty ;)

However,
this week has been really tough on me.
That rocky road which i'm goin thru now,
is really tiring.

If I were to depend on an oxygen tank to survive now,
I would probably just detach it from my body
and, slips away from this-all-so-dramatic-world.

Life's a really tough journey,
and, growing up is smtg
which i would never want to experience again...

This is the exact feeling mode I'm currently undergoing
and, its the time of the month.
So, pls do excuse my bad temper & getting annoyed easily.

Defensive defines me clearly now,
as ching said,
I'm taking revenge on my past.

That's something i would never realise
till she finally utter it out the night before.
We had a nice, long and memorable conversation.
Someone I would definitely not drift apart from again...

we had a suprise 19th birthday lunch

This is 166th post. Nice figure!

Nyhoo, i am pretty upset bout a few things in mind right now.

1. My face is not doing quite well --> PIMPLES! dangg~

2. I don't used to photoshop my pics, but lately,
most of my pics were photoshoped by Zanne.
Especially, the genting & ipoh trips.

3. I did a sinful thing just now.
I splurged on a 75ml perfume from Perfume Avenue (rm175).

I can't deny the fact that i do a lot of shopping,
but, i rarely pay exceed RM100 per item.
Because, i'm not from a very well-off family.
So, i gotta be considerate nuff to spend wisely

(which i've been tryin all this while)
and, i noe that some of you out there would think that im bullshitting,

hell no people. :)

For the reason that,
our asses were stucked to the chair for bout 3hrs approximately? lols~

Right after movie (6.40pm),

So then, we decided on McD for NUGGETS!!! woots* ;)
We had a long chat about on9 boutiques, peer pressure over in KL,
shoppings, high sch days & lots more.

It was really nice meetin u, Jyh Ling (if u'r readin this)
and, thanks Mel for introducin me one of ur best coll gf.

Well, frankly speakin, i was really excited to meet Jyh
after Mel told me bout it last night.
It was mainly because, typical me (the-curious-one)
was wonderin whad kinda girl she's like & how does she looks like.

In conclusion, it all turned out pretty well.
She's rather chatty, but that a good thang. *thumbs.up!* =)
